I get by with a little help . . .

I'm enjoying a bit of sun and a cup of coffee on my deck this morning, trying to shade the computer screen with my head so I can see what I'm typing. Yes, it's a tough life . . .

Here are some pics of our outing Tues. afternoon with a picnic lunch stop along the way. (We were on our way to Hardware Hank - ah, seems like an appropriate first outing for the son and grandson of handy men.)

I am so grateful to my parents for staying with John, Tobias and me! They have done tons of work around the house and yard, and provided me with plenty of time to rest and enjoy these days at home. Plus, they have been so supportive and reassuring, so a 1st time mom like me can feel somewhat competent. Thanks, Mom and Dad!

Oh that close up of Tobias sleeping is wonderful. I just want to lean over and kiss his little check - without waking him up, of course!

See you soon.

There's nothing better than having your Mommy around to help out, clean up after you and encourage you. How great that they can be there for these first few days...even when you can't remember what day it is!! :)

Sara - Tobias looks so content! It is clear that you're doing a great job with him! Thanks for being so great (both of you) at keeping the blog so updated! I'm impressed! It's so much fun to share from afar in seeing Tobias! What a miracle!
