Prague Castle

Although I didn't bring a tripod, I found the statues on the Charles Bridge could serve as a decent substitute.

Prague - Charles Bridge

Prague was awesome, although it felt a bit more full of tourists than some of the other places we were (well, I don't know about Italy).

And another from Venice

Here is another one of Sara's pictures from Venice that I really liked. This is St. Mark's Cathedral, I believe.

Venice

They also went to Venice. Which looks like it will be a great city for me to visit someday as well.

Florence

Sara and Bev went to Italy while I was in Warsaw. Here they are in Florence.

Salzburg View

It was mostly rainy while we were in Salzburg, but the sun decided to crack through briefly in the evening, which made for some nice garden shots. That is Salzburg fortress far in the background.

Lunch with a view

We had a nice view overlooking Salzburg at this lunch stop. It was a 20 minute walk through the woods from Salzburg Fortress to get here. It also made for a nice place to pause and loiter when the rain started.

One More from Vienna

OK, this is a 'small' church that wasn't even mentioned in any of our guidebooks. It has a grand baroque interior. Plus I just like the picture.

Schonbrunn Palace

Here is one of the few pictures we have with both of us in it. We are in front of Schonbrunn Palace, which is the only palace in Europe that can remotely give Versailles a run for its money. The gardens alone are about the same size as Eagan (ok, not quite).

St. Stephens Cathedral

This is St. Stephens Cathedral. It is basically the center point of the city and a hub of people and tourist action.

Finally

OK, so I haven't posted in a while and feel I should put something out here. How about a few more pics from our recent trip that weren't taken on a camera phone? Also one quick stat: Sara and I took just over 2900 pictures on our two cameras. Needless to say, it has taken a while to sort out the bad from the worse, but at least a first pass is complete.

So we get to spend an extra night in Amsterdam after being involuntarily bumped. We should get home tomorrow around 11 AM.
