I suspect because I've teased T that he couldn't have food until he gets teeth prompted some physical manifestation of "Ha ha, Mom!"

Our Wednesday drive out to North Dakota for Thanksgiving was shaping up to be a typical, uneventful trip (A.O.K. with me), but T surprised me during our stop for a sandwich in Valley City. I decided a reprieve from the car seat was in order and held him as we ate in the deli. Instead of T's normal "gumming" of my arm, I felt a serrated-type jab into my wrist. Sure enough, his first tooth made it's
appearance. It's next door neighbor is close behind.
