Tobias Pic & a Dinner out

Tobias is starting to smile a bit more....

We were invited to Jason & Tara's house for dinner on Sunday night. We enjoyed spending some time with family. Tobias enjoyed getting to meet his Great-Aunt Deborah.

Nathan was showing us how to vaccuum

Tobias sure is lighter that Nathan!

Mommmmeeeeee!

When he is hungry Tobias can go from sleeping angel to crying in about 35 seconds - kinda like dad...

Weekend visitors

Last weekend we had some family visitors. Tobias had a chance to meet his Uncle CJ and his girlfriend Jen last weekend. They came all the way from Bismarck to meet Tobias (and also get some shopping done at the MOA & Ikea - we are looking forward to seeing the Mona Lisa clock when we come to Bismarck. We had a great time playing some Bocce, eating food & hanging out.

Tobias really seemed to like his uncle:

Grandpa and Grandma Berge also stopped by on their way back from Alaska. It sounds like they had a great trip! Even though they weren't here long Grandma did get a chance to hold Tobias for a bit.

Brave Parents

We are getting more brave as parents. A few Fridays ago I took the day off from work and we went to Duluth with Tobias. I was going to dip his toe in the big Lake, but it was a bit cold.

Caught in the Act

It's difficult to know what prompts a smile in an infant. It could be gas, mommy's voice, or Favre drama.

New Kitchen Ware

We purchased a rice cooker and recreated one of the recipes included in the instruction manual for the cooker. This adventure was due to the intersection of two events: John reading a blog entry for one of our favorite restaurant critics, and our errand run to Target. I'd like to report that our first run last night was a success! Now the question is: should we award this appliance a permanent home on the kitchen counter?

At what age will Tobias realize his parents are slightly geeky?
